In this Project Cemento Panam awarded SAXUM to review the integration of the mechanical engineering in the area of the Raw Material Grinding and Preheater Tower. SAXUM performed also a trade off study to determine the optimal structural solution for the Preheater Tower whereby 9 different structural alternatives were considered. Then SAXUM performed the detailed engineering of the Preheater Tower and a dynamic interaction analysis during the simultaneous operation of the vertical mill for row material and all three process funs. The objective of the dynamic interaction analysis was the detailed design of the foundations of all three fans and the vertical mill attending the vibration mitigation.
