This project is related to the installation of a new vertical mill to increase the cement production of the cement plant of Yura in the South of Peru. SAXUM was awarded by Cemento Yura to review the integration of the mechanical engineering and to perform the conceptual and detailed structural engineering of the project. SAXUM assistance included also the analysis of the dynamic interaction between the two vertical mills for cement grinding that are planned to be installed and to perform the mill foundation design attending the mitigation of vibrations.
