Throughout his career, Chris has held top management positions in Engineering, Project Management – EPCM and EPC, Business Development, Technical Marketing, Operations and Technology Development. He has also led multi-disciplinary teams performing all phases of Studies – Scoping, Trade-Offs, Concept, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility, as well as Preliminary, Basic and Detailed Engineering.
With over thirty years experience, he has worked for Samsung C&T, WorleyParsons, Rio Tinto, Hatch, Danieli and Acindar in Chile, Brazil, Australia, USA, Italy and Argentina.
Wide experience in management of industrial maintenance, production management and leadership in projects for cement and mining companies. Knowledge and abilities in quality management, maintenance centered in reliability and tribology.

Senior Project & Construction Manager with high expertise in Engineering Direction and Works Coordination in international mining, civil and industrial projects. He has proven experience in equipment dimensioning, technology conversion and design optimization for cement manufacturing facilities.

Kevin Blankenship is currently SAXUM Project Director in North America and Global VP Technology.
Kevin earned his B.S. Chemical Engineering Degree at Mississippi State University, and holds a M.S. Chemical Engineering Degree from the University of Tennessee.
He has over 20 years of engineering, management, process/operations and leadership experience with extensive project management background in the cement industry and chemical engineering/technology.
During his 17 years in the cement industry, he acquired a wide experience including process control and optimization, developing and maintaining quality standards, and plant technical, safety, and engineering support. In management roles, Kevin facilitated production optimization as a production manager, and led overall plant operations as a plant manager.
